Amy (aka "Bo") is a trailblazer of Floral Design in the UK and has been instrumental in establishing the Fine Art Floristry movement that we embrace today. With over 150 weddings, private & public events, workshops, brand editorials, film premiers, catwalk runways, fashion launches, restaurant and nightclub interiors under her belt, she is a seasoned guest speaker at wedding industry events, a floral design award judging consultant and trusted counsel among peers on floristry techniques, trends and styles.

Best known for her larger than life installation pieces and for pushing floral design boundaries; always exuding her signature style of generous and exquisitely untamed botanical beauty.

Amy has gained critical acclaim with her work regularly featured in global publications such as Vogue Paris, Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Sparrow, Magnolia Rouge, Green Wedding Shoes, You & Your Wedding Magazine, Wedding Flowers Magazine, Once Wed, 100 Layer Cake, Elizabeth Anne Designs and Rock My Wedding. Take a look at our Press page for a selection of features.

Amy’s story is what makes her an extraordinary mentor and, her passion to advance Floral Design and catapult this art form into the modern era sets Bo Botanica Academy apart from the rest; leaving behind the somewhat archaic practices and perceptions of how floristry 'should' be approached, learned, executed and embraced.

She is perfectly poised to support and guide with practical knowledge and absolute wisdom gained through having done all the hard graft herself…

If anyone can inspire you to work hard, dream big, hustle, hone your niche and maintain your integrity, it’s Amy!

Amy's appreciation of botanicals and design started from an early age; training as a florist in 1999 before graduating from law school in 2004 and pursuing a career in corporate finance.

Recognising In 2009 that her purpose was in floral design, she set out to establish Bo Botanica; launching in 2012.

With absolute determination for success, while establishing her internationally renowned brands Bo Botanica and Bo Botanica Academy, Amy, for a further five years continued to maintain her high profile career as Assistant Vice President and CEEO in legal and finance... (throw in renovating a couple of houses along the way too!) Finally, and with much celebration, closing her corporate chapter in 2017.

A love of travel also took her to Australia where she accepted a position for one year in Melbourn’s most prestigious florist as a Lead Floral Designer, creating installations and arrangements for local and touring public figures including Dolly Parton, Elton John, Danni Minogue and Elizabeth Hurley.

And the rest, as they say, is history…
